Robin was in bad shape when he was found by his rescuers in northern AZ. He was spotted by some tourists in a popular hiking spot, and rescuers went out to see if they could catch him. It quickly became clear that, not only had he been dumped there, but that he was injured. He was surviving in this remote area by moving to higher ground at night for safety, and traveling down the mountain every day for water and to scavenge for food. It took rescuers three days to trap him.

Three months later, Robin is in a loving Paw Placement foster home with his BFF from the shelter up north, Juliette. His pelvis, likely broken from being hit by a car, has healed and he has regained full use of his leg. Our vet team indicates he should be on a glucosamine supplement and kept at a slim, healthy weight to prevent any future issues from arising.

Robin is obedient and eager to please, affectionate and loyal to his people, playful and silly. He adores Juliette and we'd prefer to place him in a forever home with another dog as he seems to enjoy their company very much. Robin is submissive and shy with new people, always respectful and simply avoiding until he's comfortable. Robin is crate and house trained in his foster home.
