Terrier / Mixed (long coat) : : Male (neutered)
Berkeley was found as a stray and, after an unsuccessful search for owners, was welcomed into a loving Paw Placement foster home. This spunky and energetic boy has brought much joy to his foster's life! Berkeley is great with other dogs and spends much of his day romping and playing with his furry foster siblings, including adoptable Olivia. Beverley also enjoys chomping on bones and antlers, playing in the yard, and snuggling with his people. Berkeley's breed is a mystery: his hair grows and will require grooming, and he also sheds. He's currently a solid 15 pounds and that seems to be a healthy weight for him. He's still very much a puppy, and is looking for an active home that can also provide the aforementioned cuddle time. He is also looking for a home with a yard and he'd love to have a doggie playmate, as well. A note from foster mom: Berkeley is just a loveable doofus! He loves to play with the dogs. So far he's played with everyone he's met, it just takes him about a day to warm up. He's housebroken in my home and he goes in kennel when asked. He loves loves loves cuddles (more than treats or food). He's great about being brushed, which we do daily. I tend to baby him, so he's guarded me from the other dogs a few times, but he corrects easily and is learning that this behavior is unacceptable. Now he only tries to guard from new dogs, but not from his foster siblings. He does not guard food. I feed him and Livi side by side, and they go from bowl to bowl, trading places with no issues. He loves to run in the yard, and he's quite athletic. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application. Because we expect a large number of applications, and are still understaffed due to COVID19, we will only be able to email those applicants that are approved to schedule a meet and greet. Thank you in advance for your understanding if you don't hear back from us regarding your application. More about BerkeleyGood with Dogs, Good with Kids, Good with Adults
