Blondie and her sisters, Joan Jett and Stevie Nicks, came to us via some wonderful rescuers in northern AZ. These babies were bred on the reservation and then were being given away in the parking lot of a local Walmart. There were 9 total and, sadly, by the time rescue arrived, only 3 were left. We are grateful to be able to give these 3 girls a second chance to have the life they deserve!

Blondie is an energetic, playful and smart young puppy. She's looking for a home with strong breed experience, and one that is ready to give her the training, socialization and discipline required to raise a well balanced adult dog. She'd prefer a home with a doggie playmate that can keep up with her energy, and an active home where she'll enjoy walks, hikes, e.t.c.

A note from Blondie's foster mom: She's super smart, loves other dogs of all sizes, is picking up on potty training like a champ, and is sleeping through the night! Has been working on her manners like sit!

Blondie is working on mastering her crate and house training, and will need continued training in her forever home including crate, house and potty training, and lots of continued socialization. Blondie is not appropriate for an apartment setting, she requires a house with a yard.

Please note: socializing dogs, especially young dogs, is critical to their development. Puppies need to have positive experiences with new people, places, sounds, dogs on a WEEKLY basis to ensure they do not grow into insecure, fearful or even aggressive adult dogs. Please consider this when adopting during this pandemic. Socialization is currently more difficult, but it isn't any less important, so please be sure you can fulfill this need in a new dog before committing to adopt.
