beagle/dachsund mix

Benji was found roaming the street. When the number on his tag was called, the former owners said they didn't want him anymore so they "let him go". When his new owner took him to the vet, he was believed to be anywhere from 6-11 mos, they have had Benji for 4 years so my guess would be he is around 4-5 years old. He is tri-colored and he's about 30lbs. His breed is also unknown, but he has a long body like a dachshund, but a beagle-looking face. He is very sweet and loves everyone he meets. When he goes to the dog park, he has more fun sitting at the benches and trying to see how many people would like to pet him. He also enjoys cuddling with you on the couch or in a blanket. He doesn't really play with toys, but he enjoys bones and he loves to play with his best dog-friend, Patriot, who is also looking for a home. Benji is neutered, house-trained, crate-trained, up-to-date on shots and has had some formal training as well., Benji and his "brother" Patriot have been surrendered by their owner so we are hoping to adopt them out together. Patriot is the silver chi/terrier and Benji is the Beagle/Dachsund mix. Please consider giving these wonderful dogs their new furever home.
