min pin/rat terrier mix

This little guy is sweet and gentle and has a wonderful temperament. He enjoys a good nap and prefers to snuggle next to you or on your lap. Even better, he loves sleeping under the covers with his people! He would be perfect for an older person, because he?s not interested in playing or going for walks. He does like to explore the backyard, though. He tolerates other dogs, but he doesn?t like to share food, so should have his own bowl. If other dogs leave him alone, he?s perfectly fine. He is already housetrained and goes to the door when he wants out, and he comes back when he?s done. He doesn?t mind cats. His foster mom reports that Cujo was in her lap the other day and her cat jumped up and curled up next to him, and they were both perfectly happy. Foster mom thinks he would be great with kids, although there are none in the foster home. It may be better to keep him with older kids, because he doesn?t like to be picked on, but he loves people so he would probably enjoy kids who would be able to understand his limits. All in all, he?s a great lap dog and very, very sweet. Anyone would be lucky to have him. He has so much love to give.
