Have you ever been homeless in Arizona, living in the heat and doing whatever you could to find shelter, food and water? No? Well, unfortunately, our little Shamu knows exactly how traumatic abandonment in a hostile climate can be. He was found running from person to person in the parking lot of an office building. He ran to many people and looked up at them with his pretty kitty cat eyes begging, "Take care of me please." Some people ignored him, others stopped to scratch his chin but none heeded his plea. Finally, he ran up to the right human. As his soon-to-be rescuer got into her car, Shamu raced to her meowing for her to take him to a safe place. Luckily for Shamu the human he asked is also a kind woman who cares for the feral and abandoned kitties around Tempe. She took him with her to a safe place and now Paw Placement is looking for the perfect home for this beautiful black and white boy. We seek a human family who will love Shamu for life and make sure that he is never exposed to the elements again. Please come see Shamu ~ he is so full of personality! |
