Look at that face! Our dear Sweet Peg hadn't had it easy until she came into our care. For most of her life she was without proper training or positive reinforcement. Consequently, she was a bit aloof toward humans and had also developed some behaviors in need of correction., Today, Peg is a happier girl who will do well with people who provide consistent, loving guidance. She should go into either an adult only home or one with older children. , Peg does not enjoy being left alone and needs to go into a home where her people are there most of the time. When left for short periods, Peg does quite well in her crate - especially with the tv on and tuned to The Animal Planet! , We insist she have a crate, as she takes great comfort in having her own special place and will often nap in her crate when the door is left open., Peg is much more active than most dogs her age, and her ideal home would be one with a large playful puppy for her to romp with. She seems to do better with puppies rather than adult dogs - pups large enough to "rastle" with her. If you have a large breed pup who can't seem to get enough play, Sweet Peg is your girl!, Peg loves soft toys and will gather them around herself. How cute is that?, Peg is a hound, after all, so a covered trash can under the sink is a good idea. This chow hound can smell a morsel of meat a mile away! , Peg is on an inexpensive thyroid medication that she will need for the rest of her life., This dear girl has finally found a joyful spirit and would love to share it with you!
