History

Gunsmoke was left at a vet's office after hours in his carrier with a note from his owner who was facing homelessness himself. He wanted to try to give Gunsmoke the best chance to find a safe haven and thought a vet's office was his only hope on short notice. In his note he also said Gunsmoke was shot in his leg as a kitten, but had been bottle fed and kept indoors his entire life when he was found.

Gunsmoke was given a full exam, neutered, tested and vaccinated by the wonderful veterinarian who found him. He still carries a bullet in his leg as a good luck charm and will never need it removed. He was given a clean bill of health and is ready for a new home. Gunsmoke favors one leg, but other than that he gets along great and is a happy kitty! He purred and rolled over for belly rubs the minute he got in our adoption center and flirts with everyone that walks by!

While Gunsmoke loves the wild west, he wants to view it safely from a perch by the window.
